The demanding nature of the work is physically tough.
Long hours of leaning forward put a great strain on my lower back and shoulders, and with practice time at night included, my actual working hours exceeded 10 hours.
I was abnormally tired at the end of the day and it was really physically tough. I would fall asleep as soon as I got home, with no time to relax.
Suffered from nail allergies
I was quite shocked when I heard that it's difficult to completely cure once it develops. From there, I seriously started considering quitting my job as a nail artist. I was applying the medication prescribed by the hospital, but the blisters gradually worsened.
As a result, I became afraid of customers' reactions and found it painful to show my hands.
Dissatisfied with income
My take-home pay was 150,000 yen. I had to pay for supplies myself, and at the salon, even minor things resulted in immediate wage deductions or fines, so my income was even lower. Other new nail technicians might have similar incomes, but in my case, I was struggling with workplace relationships and allergies, so I'm glad I quit.

About the LaShade Certification Seminar System
To ensure proper understanding of our products and their correct application, LaShade requires nail technicians interested in using our products to attend a "Certification Seminar."
The seminar is designed to allow you to first try the products with a starter kit, and then deeply learn LaShade's structure and philosophy, enabling you to maximize their appeal.
🔸Certification Seminar [Online]
1-Day Seminar (Learn basics to practical skills in one day)
LaShade's certification seminar is a practical online seminar (via Zoom) that allows you to intensively learn content immediately applicable to salon work, from the brand's background to techniques and customer service, all in one day.
1-Day Intensive Practical Seminar
• What is "Wellness Nail"? ── Learn the mindset and knowledge required for the new generation of nail technicians
• Understanding the background of the LaShade brand, its products, structure, and patented technology
• Sharing product usage tips, utilization points, and frequently asked questions (FAQ)
• Acquire counseling tips useful for customer interaction
• Demonstrations by instructors and practical work by participants
• Certification Test – Apply the acquired skills on the spot to aim for member certification
🏅 Certification Test and Benefits for Successful Candidates
A practical certification test will be conducted in the latter half of the seminar, and you will be notified of the results within one week.
Successful candidates will receive the following benefits:

🔸About Certified Salons
In addition to individual certification, LaShade has introduced a LaShade Certified Salon System. We certify salons that endorse our philosophy and techniques, ensuring clients can receive services with peace of mind.
If a salon has multiple nail technicians, we recommend that more than half of them attend the seminar. For multiple applications, please contact us via the 【Inquiries】 page. We will guide you through the dedicated application process.

Diploma Process
Certified Seminar & Certification Test Flow
Certified Seminar Application
You can apply for a LaShade certified seminar on this website. If you do not have a starter kit, please choose the seminar with the kit. After your application is complete, we will send you the necessary kit and information about the online course.
Attended certified seminar
The certified seminar is a one-day, five-hour course (including a 30-minute break and a 55-minute test) where you will learn the knowledge and techniques of LaShade. (Held online)
All sessions will be held from 10:00 to 15:00.
Certification test
On the same day as the certified seminar, the latter half of the seminar will be held. We will mainly confirm practical skills, and you will be notified of the pass/fail results within one week of the seminar date.
Obtain a diploma
After successfully passing the certification test, we will send you your diploma. Once certified, you will receive the following benefits: access to the official Members Instagram, and the ability to purchase LaShade products at a 30% discount for members.
