Bending over for long periods puts a lot of strain on my lower back and shoulders, and with the practice time at night, my actual working hours exceeded 10 hours a day...
The fatigue at the end of the day was abnormal and it was really tough physically. I would fall asleep without even having a chance to relax after getting home.

Suffered from nail allergies

I was quite shocked when I was told that once it develops, it is difficult to completely cure. From there, I seriously began to consider quitting my job as a nailist. I was applying medicine prescribed by the hospital, but the blisters gradually worsened.
Because of that, I became afraid of customers' reactions and found it painful to show my hands.

Dissatisfied with income

My take-home pay was 150,000 yen. I had to pay for supplies out of pocket, and at the salon, even minor things led to immediate wage deductions or fines, further reducing my income. Other new nail technicians might have had similar incomes, but in my case, I was struggling with workplace relationships and allergies, so I'm glad I quit.
