Regarding the product
It can be used. Unlike traditional gels, it can be removed with minimal damage to the nails.
Recommended curing time: LED 30 seconds / UV 60 seconds
We do not recommend temporary curing. Please fully cure the gel one or two nails at a time to prevent it from running.
Usable. The recommended curing times are LED 30 seconds / UV 60 seconds.
Yes, the removable gel, tip stick, and top gel are all registered as cosmetics.
No problem. Please perform the treatment after thoroughly removing any moisture and oil.
We do not use ingredients that are prone to allergic reactions in products that directly touch the skin or nail bed, so the likelihood of allergic reactions is overwhelmingly lower compared to conventional gels. However, individual differences exist, so if you are concerned, please use gloves or similar protection.
This is a domestic gel made in Japan.
It leads to beautiful and lustrous nails. It is also very suitable for natural nail growth. Compared to traditional gels, the burden on the nails is significantly reduced, so you can enjoy nail art while maintaining the health of your natural nails. Furthermore, by using LaShade PLEX in conjunction, we aim to make your nails healthier and more beautiful.
While it depends on the condition of your nails, LaShade recommends a treatment cycle of every three weeks.
Although nails can generally last for about four weeks to a month, we believe three weeks is ideal for maintaining their beautiful condition.
In reality, for those with healthy nails, they may last about a month. However, even if there is no lifting, leaving them on for more than a month can potentially cause nail problems, so we recommend prompt maintenance.
It can be used normally. For foot applications, the tether lock is not always necessary as the claws are small.
LaShade is a product developed for professionals. Compared to self-applied nails, it offers outstanding durability and can achieve the high-quality finish required in salon work. In addition, it allows for a wide variety of colors, designs, and artwork, similar to what is offered in traditional nail salons.
Yes, it's decided. The products to be used for removal are the Removable Spatula and the Slide Cure. The price displayed on the product page will be your purchase price. Members can purchase at 30% off the displayed price.
LaShade is a new concept adhesive gel that goes beyond the nail industry, applying adhesive technology from other industries. The removal method, in particular, is different. While most manufacturers use ethanol, LaShade uses nail serum for removal. This allows for gentle removal while moisturizing the nails and cuticles, without drying them out.
Furthermore, while some products cannot be removed by oneself, LaShade is designed for self-removal, allowing more people to enjoy gel nails.
No, it will not come off. You can continue to use LaShade Slide Cure and your usual moisturizing care with your own oils without any problems.
Slide Cure is formulated to remove the gel by penetrating the gap between the nail and the gel when it forms. Therefore, even if you use oil for normal use or for moisturizing purposes, the gel will not come off naturally.
In fact, by continuing to moisturize diligently every day, the gel will last even longer.
If your nails are damaged and thin, they may be prone to chipping from the tips. In such cases, using a Tip Stick to reinforce and adjust them according to your nail condition will result in a stable finish.
Furthermore, continued use of LaShade will make your nails healthier and significantly improve their durability. To achieve a beautiful finish while minimizing stress on your nails, please continue to use it.
Unlike peel-off gels, LaShade is a "new-concept adhesive base gel" that dramatically reduces damage to natural nails, born from a new idea inspired by adhesive technologies in other industries.
Compared to peel-off types, it puts far less stress on the nails, lasts longer, and has specifications developed for professional use.
- Store gels in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperature changes.
- Since this product is applied directly to the nails, use it within approximately 6 months after opening. Even if unopened, do not use it after 3 years.
- Avoid leaving gel lids open for extended periods. Exposure of gels to light sources can affect their quality.
- Do not place gels or brushes in front of LED lights.
- After use, always wipe the screw top clean and close the lid tightly for storage. Please note that a loose lid can cause gel to leak.
Approximate servings: removable gel 40, tip stick 250, top gel 35.
It's almost the same as regular soft gel. If your nails are thin and you are concerned about their strength, please use Coreform or Tip Stick to adjust according to your nail condition.
◉ Removable Gel This gel uses a unique adhesive material, making it easy to remove without the need for solvents or filing. After applying Tip Stick to the tip, applying it over the entire nail ensures a strong bond.
◉ Tip Stick Before applying the Removable Gel, apply it thoroughly to the tip and edges to prevent lifting and enhance adhesion. Additionally, depending on the condition of your nails, you can apply it again after applying the Removable Gel.
There are no specific requirements, but general UV/LED lights can be used. However, we recommend lights equipped with a low-heat mode.
We particularly recommend the oui nails nail light. It features Top & Base mode, Low Heat mode, and Beauty mode, making it ideal for LaShade treatments. Recommended curing time: LED 30 seconds / UV 60 seconds
※ For removable gel, please cure for the specified time without flash curing.
LaShade optimizes both durability and ease of removal with its unique system, so using it with other gel brands may affect its longevity and removal. Please be sure to use LaShade top coat in particular. However, new colors and art products from other manufacturers can be used.
It's perfectly fine to use. Our educators also use it for treatments on clients other than LaShade, and it has been very well received, particularly for its luster.
No stirring is required, but if the product has not been used for a long time, please stir it gently.
All are soft gels.
Cannot be used. Please use a tip stick.
Removable gel is an adhesive gel, so wiping it may peel off the base. If you want to eliminate uncured gel, apply a thin layer of tip stick or top gel and then wipe it off.
Although generally recommended, the tether lock is not strictly necessary for nails other than the thumb due to their smaller size.
We recommend a shelf life of 3 years when unopened.
No problem. PLEX penetrates deep into the nail in about 10 seconds and instantly repairs it. Therefore, even if you wipe it off immediately after application, its effectiveness will not be diminished and it will work properly.
There is no problem with using it. In fact, it is very good for your nails, so I recommend it.
Before applying gel, please use it after performing oil and moisture removal → PLEX → oil and moisture removal, similar to LaShade.
The full list of ingredients (all ingredients displayed) for all LaShade products is listed individually on each product page. You can view them in the product details section before making a purchase.
About your treatment
No sanding is required. Our unique adhesive material ensures a strong bond to your nails without the need for sanding.
When removing gel polish by sanding, the surface of your nails may peel off along with the gel, which can lead to nail problems. Please use this product without sanding.
Yes, it's possible. We recommend using gel sculpting or tip forms for extensions. For shaping during extensions, please use core forms.
LaShade gel is not suitable for fills; always perform a complete reapplication each time.
At LaShade, we generally recommend replacement procedures, but if your nails are very thin and severely damaged, it is possible to leave a thin layer of gel. In such cases, however, it is crucial to carefully remove any lifted areas, meticulously buff the nail surface, and create a smooth finish so that the boundary between the gel and the natural nail is seamless.
If gel is applied while lifting or unevenness remains, it can cause the natural nail to peel off with the gel during removal, or the natural nail to be torn along with the existing gel. Therefore, this method requires advanced judgment and careful handling.
It can be used. Compared to traditional gels, it significantly reduces stress on the body by not using dust or acetone, and you can remove it yourself, making it suitable for sudden hospitalizations or childbirth. However, if you have any health concerns or are worried, please consult your family doctor before use, just to be safe.
At LaShade, Core Form can be used as an alternative to builder gel.
After applying removable gel, apply additional layers of Core Form, making sure to fully cover from the root to the edge of the tip. Layering it will reinforce strength and stability.
LaShade is a revolutionary adhesive gel that transcends the nail industry by applying adhesive technology from other fields. A key difference lies in the removal method: while most manufacturers use ethanol-based removers, LaShade uses a nail serum. This allows for gentle removal that moisturizes and prevents dryness of the nails and cuticles. Furthermore, unlike some products that cannot be self-removed, LaShade is designed for self-removal, making gel nails enjoyable for a wider audience.
No problem. Please perform the treatment after thoroughly removing any moisture and oil.
There are individual differences. When preventing heat spikes, use the low heat mode of the lamp. If it's unbearable, remove your hand from the lamp without forcing it, and reinsert it once it has settled.
LaShade is formulated to adhere securely without primer, taking into account nail health, so please be assured.
We recommend thoroughly degreasing and curing each nail individually to prevent the gel from shrinking due to sweat or other factors.
LaShade has strong adhesion and is less prone to lifting, so the risk of green nail is relatively low, but caution is advised during hot and humid seasons. If you discover green nail, remove the polish immediately, file and shape the nail without over-filing, disinfect it, and take a break from nail applications. If the symptoms are spreading or if you are concerned, we recommend consulting a dermatologist.
Rest assured, if done after removal, there will be no impact on your nails. However, if you are applying gel after cuticle care, please make sure to thoroughly remove any oil and moisture before the procedure.
When extending nails, it is recommended to use a gel specifically designed for sculpting. After applying the form, apply the sculpting gel from about one-third of the way down the nail bed to create the desired length. Then, use a core form to smooth out the step from the base and shape the nail.
How to lengthen nails with full tips
① Apply Tip Stick to the tip, 1-2mm. ② Apply removable gel. ③ Apply Tip Stick to the entire nail. ④ Attach the tip (use the recommended tip adhesive or Core Form). Leave a small gap at the base when applying the tip and smooth out any steps. → After smoothing the step, apply Core Form to the entire nail. → Apply top gel or similar to the underside of the free edge of the tip. → Then design as usual. This completes the procedure for lengthening nails with tips.
If your nails are healthy, cuticle care is sufficient. If the surface of your nails is damaged, smooth it with a fine 220-280 grit sponge buffer before applying gel.
Yes, you can use a bit for cuticle care. However, depending on how the bit is used, there's a risk of damaging your nails. Therefore, for those who are unsure or unaccustomed to using a bit, we recommend cuticle care without a machine.
We do not recommend applying removable gel twice. This is because it can make removal difficult and leave behind residue. If you are concerned about forming or lifting, please use Tip Stick or Core Form for reinforcement and adjustment.
Cover the cracked area with silk, making it larger than usual, extending to the removable part. Cover the silk with a tip stick, then apply the tip stick to the entire nail to shape it. After this, proceed with your design as usual.
After applying removable gel according to the condition of the nails, adjust the amount of tip stick and core foam application methods according to the condition.
Applying two coats of removable gel is not recommended as it may leave a sticky residue when removed or become too thick and potentially peel off easily. To increase strength, apply a layer of core form over the removable gel. Using core form will provide both adhesion and strength.
We do not recommend applying two coats of removable gel, as this can make it more difficult to remove the gel, or the excess thickness can actually make it peel off more easily. If you are concerned about heat spikes, you can temporarily cure the gel for a few seconds to reduce the heat, and then perform a full cure, or use the low heat mode. If you still feel the heat, do not force it; remove your hand from the light and cure again when it has cooled down.
Depending on the condition of the nail, it may chip or peel from the tip.
When applying removable gel, do not apply it all the way to the very edge of the tip. Instead, apply it with the intention of leaving about 1mm of space. If you apply it all the way to the edge, it can cause lifting from the tip. For the tip area, only use the Tip Stick to fill in the difference in height with the natural nail.
While there's no need to change the basic application process, if you wish to wear it for a short period of only a few days, you can adjust the strength of the tether lock by applying the Tip Stick slightly narrower at the tip. If you want it to last securely for a long time, the adhesion will be stable by applying the tether lock wider as usual.
Applying two coats of Tip Stick to the tip does not significantly improve its longevity.
If the product doesn't last long or chips easily, after applying the removable gel, layer Tip Stick or Core Form over it, ensuring full coverage from the nail surface to the edges. This will stabilize strength and adhesion, thereby improving longevity.
Cannot be used. Please use a tip stick when creating glitter or sheer colors.
For holograms, applying a layer of Tip Stick on top firmly embeds them, resulting in a smooth surface. For stones, however, securing them firmly with a top gel provides more stability. Please use these methods selectively based on your design and parts.
Depending on the extent of the cracks and the condition of the nails, it may not be a problem. Please try testing with various patterns.
Yes, you can use it without any problems.
LaShade's top gel offers excellent gloss and workability, and can achieve a beautiful finish even when used with gels from other manufacturers. In fact, our educators also use only LaShade top gel for services other than LaShade, and receive high praise from customers.
While all gels (UV-curable resins) shrink to some extent, LaShade is characterized by its softness after curing, which reduces stress on the nails and lowers the risk of worsening ingrown toenails.
Furthermore, it helps smooth the nail surface and beautify the nails themselves, so you can use it with confidence.
At LaShade, we generally recommend replacement施術 (reapplication of gel after complete removal), but if your nails are very thin and severely damaged, we can accommodate by leaving a thin layer of gel. However, in such cases, it is crucial to thoroughly remove any lifted portions, carefully smooth the nail surface with a buffer, and ensure a seamless finish where the gel and natural nail blend imperceptibly.
If gel is applied over lifted areas or uneven surfaces, it can cause the natural nail to peel off during removal or tear along with the existing gel. Therefore, this method requires a high level of judgment and meticulous attention.
Regarding time off
While possible, we recommend removing with "Slide Cure," our dedicated nail serum, instead of acetone. Acetone can be harsh on nails and skin, potentially leading to dryness and damage with long-term use. LaShade's Slide Cure allows for gentle removal while moisturizing, helping to maintain healthy nails. To minimize stress on your nails, we strongly recommend using Slide Cure for removal.
While acetone removal is possible at other salons, we recommend purchasing and using the Removal Spatula and Slide Cure from the LaShade website for removal. We will be sharing removal instructions on our social media channels, so please check there for updates.
Always use the dedicated slide cure to remove it. Removing it without the slide cure may damage your nails.
We recommend using a dedicated removal spatula. LaShade's removal spatula is designed to make removal easy and minimize stress on your nails, so please give it a try.
Always slide the removal spatula back and forth from the base to the tip of the nail, keeping it flush with the nail surface, to remove the gel. Sliding it up and down or side to side may cause your nail to peel off with it.
Although there are individual differences, with practice, it is possible to turn it off in about 5 to 15 minutes.
Generally, the usual removal procedure is fine. However, pulling on parts or thick designs forcefully can strain your nails or cause pain. When removing, pay particular attention to parts, and carefully slide them off gently.
You can safely remove it using a spatula and slide cure. Forcing it off without these tools can damage your nails and cause pain or other problems. Therefore, we recommend having the appropriate tools available.
Using hard gels from other brands can lead to cracking and put stress on your nails during removal. To ensure maximum benefit from LaShade's technology and to maintain long-lasting, beautiful results, please be sure to use LaShade's top gel.
It can be easily removed by soaking ethanol or water in a paper towel and gently wiping it over your nails in one direction. Please be careful not to pull or scrape it off forcibly.
Also, if your nails are damaged, it may last too long and take a long time to remove, but the stronger your nails become, the easier it will be to remove.
When lifting the gel, lift it from the sides, not from the base, and remove it while moisturizing with Slide Cure. If the slide becomes rough, add more Slide Cure to help peel it off without damaging the nail.
If a Tip Stick remains on the tip after removal, it's also a sign that the tether lock was working effectively. Please avoid forcing it off, as this can damage your nails. If you want to adjust the length, cut the tip. If you want to keep the length as is, you can gently smooth it out with a sponge buffer to remove any burrs, which will allow it to come off naturally.
File down the tip with an emery board to unlock the tip stick before using the removal spatula. If it's difficult to insert the spatula from the side, gradually create a gap with the spatula from the filed tip until an opening is made, then remove the gel in the usual way.
The method is the same as usual, but make sure to create a gap between the nail and the gel, apply Slide Cure, and then slide the spatula to remove.
When removing, always hold the spatula parallel to the nail, moving it back and forth from the base to the tip of the nail, and remove gently. If your nails feel thin or there's a pulling sensation, this can sometimes occur when transitioning from traditional gel to LaShade. It happens when removable gel gets into scratches on the nail surface that haven't been completely smoothed. Therefore, during the preparation stage, it is crucial to smooth the nail surface with a fine buffer.
If the spatula becomes difficult to slide during removal, we recommend adding an appropriate amount of Slide Cure to improve the glide and carefully remove the product.
The basic method is to soak a paper towel in ethanol or water and wipe it off. If there are still residues, gently rub them off with a sponge buffer.
If the adhesive residue is particularly strong, it is possible that the nail surface was not properly prepared before applying the gel, or that the removable gel was applied too thickly. Please review the application amount and preparation process once again.
Regarding the Issue
First, when deburring, the key is to tilt the sponge buffer from the usual 45 degrees to 30 degrees, slightly widening the area that touches the nail tip, to achieve a smoother finish.
Then, for the Tip Stick, aim for a thickness of just under 1mm and a width slightly wider than usual, around 3mm. By firmly applying the tether lock to the tip, the adhesion and longevity will be stable.
Additionally, when applying removable gel, it's ideal to apply it from the base, leaving a gap of about 1-2mm at the edge. Finally, applying the core foam from the base to the edge, shaping the entire form, will further enhance strength and stability.
One common cause of stickiness after removal, particularly for those with thin or damaged nails, is the peeling or unevenness of the nail surface. Gel tends to seep into these areas, making stickiness more likely to remain.
To address this, gently smooth the nail surface with a fine buffer of 280 grit or higher. Additionally, firmly rubbing in LaShade PLEX for 10 seconds can help repair peeled areas and even out the surface, which is expected to reduce stickiness.
Over-applying removable gel can also lead to stickiness, so be mindful of the application amount.
When nails are damaged and thin, they can be prone to chipping from the tips. In such cases, using Tip Stick or core form according to the nail's condition to reinforce and adjust them will result in a stable finish. Furthermore, continued use of LaShade will lead to healthier nails and significantly improved durability. Please continue to use it to achieve beautiful results while minimizing stress on your nails.
There is a possibility that the degreasing is not done properly. Please degrease thoroughly with a cleanser.
Yes, there's no problem.
It serves a similar role to builder gel, so I believe you can use it without any issues.
